It was a hot sunny day July 18 Saturday 2018. I was so excited to see the first time my contact Mr. Alemayeh. He set up appointment for me to visit the 24000 square foot rehabilitation homeless shelter run by catholic mission, where I am going to sponsor 150 more homeless children to shelter and rehabilitate . The project have been going on for at least a year. Located in the south east side of Addis Ababa city in the district of Kirkos. Over 30, 000 homeless children live in Ethiopia. Addis Ababa city has over 10,000 homeless children between the age of 7- 12. I grow up in the area, in the 1970’s when I was in junior high school and I have never seen homeless children in the street. My father was train conductor and we lived in the main rail way station compound south east side of the city. In 1976 when civil war erupts I run to Nairobi city Kenya with couple of my school friends and never went back to my country. The population in the city triples. The city changed so much and I was a complete stranger in the city I was born some 50 plus years ago. Life expectancy in poor country like Ethiopia is about 50 years old and the whole generation I belong were passed away and 80% of the population were young. The shelter administrator Mr. Alemayehu picked me up from Addis Ababa Bole air port and drove through the City and it took us an hour to get to the shelter. He was very knowledgeable about the problems of the street kids and very likable missionary type personality. He worked hard to put things together for me. The shelter is equipped to give non formal education and guidance on how to integrate these kids back to community. It has dining room, dormitory, and playground and assembly hall to accommodate 150 homeless children.
Looking and sorting out homeless children from the street of Addis Ababa city, were hurt breaking experience. We spent few weeks talking, getting to know them and stories of their family and friends. Save the children international organization interviewing kids living on the street says that most do not have access to shelter or adequate foods. Almost all are abandoned kids and survive on what they receive from shining shoes, selling small items to passerby and begging. Research data indicates some 30% are seriously sick, but most do not have access to any kind of treatment. And about 40% give indication that they have been forced to have sex. The community shelter i am involved is to provide rehabilitation support so that they can change their life.
After having meals together and listening their stories I got to know their dreams and I am inspired. It was one of the best moments of my life.
Back to British Columbia Canada on September 20, 2018, cloudy beautiful weather, my business explodes my team worked in unison and harmony and the residual income I was getting without me being there rocks. My personal pivotal needs are legacy and true health. I felt healthy positive and enthusiastic. All these happened because of one thing, I was honest willing and able to challenge my old blueprint. That was the dragon holding me back from realizing authentic self. I slay the dragon with power of the 24 weeks of 2015 MKMMA alliance. The Hero’s journey transformation to transcendent within was the key to the vault. The power of my subconscious mind was magical and feels authentic. I am connected with universal mind of omniscient and omnipresent. I am elated experienced ecstasy because I know that without a shadow of doubt I became what I thought all day long and was unstoppable. No more of a life of quite desperation. I wake up excited every morning. I am so grateful and there is no price tag to put on master key mastermind mind alliance experience. It changed the core of my beingness and gave me the purpose in my life and showed me how to live it in gratitude. l became fearless and courageously approach life with enthusiasm. I am happy and I am forever thankful to Mark and Davene’s team of MKMMA, the Aladdin’s lamp, that traced my way back to the warrior hero’s journey.
